In the current circumstances, all of us at Basildon Borough Conservatives hope that you and your families have a wonderful and relaxing bank holiday weekend.
However, it is crucial that residents STAY AWAY from local parks and open spaces.
Many parks and nature reserves are closed, along with nearby beaches, which are not being patrolled and are therefore not safe to swim from. Any exercise should be completed as close to home as possible.
We know that this is a big ask at Easter time, when most people's instinct is to get together and enjoy the nice weather. But we urge you all to do the right thing.
Stay Home. Protect the NHS. Save Lives
