New café facilities in our open spaces
Follows extensive lobbying by local Conservative councillor
Since being elected in 2021, Cllr Davida Ademuyiwa (Con, St Martin's) has been lobbying to bring a pop-up café to Gloucester Park in Basildon for families to enjoy over the summer period and now it is here.

All Smiles Catering have opened in Gloucester Park and will be operating daily throughout the summer holidays, located in the park next to the play area and new skate park selling hot food, fresh coffee, sandwiches and ice creams.
"I hope it will be a great asset to the park." ~ Cllr Davida Ademuyiwa, St Martin's Ward Councillor
Councillor Ademuyiwa said: "Finally our Gloucester Park mobile van café is here! A big thanks to the Council officers and Cllr Craig Rimmer [then Chairman of Leisure & Environment] who supported me as I pushed this through so that we could deliver the cafe for the summer months. I am loving it and we are so glad to welcome All Smiles to Gloucester Park. I hope it will be a great asset to the park."
The Council has also welcomed Phoebe's Pantry to Norsey Wood in Billericay, where they will be operating every Wednesday between 10am and 3pm. We also have café facilities at other parks in the borough, including Lake Meadows, Wickford Memorial Park and Northlands Park.
